All about the Comanche indians
The Comanche Indian Tribe is located near Texas, all of Oklahoma, and other states that are nearby. The Comanche Tribe lived in Teepee's that were made out of buffalo hide. The Comanche Tribe had a fireplace in there Teepee's to keep warm in the harsh winter. Instead of beds the Comanche Tribe had scraps of buffalo hide or wood and a little blanket. The Comanche Indians believed in gods and had special ceremonies outside around the fire. The Comanche Indians ate buffalo in the spring and summer, and ate berries and dried buffalo in the winter, and fall. Woman in the Comanche tribe would make the Teepee's out of long wooden poles, women also took care of the house. The men in the tribe would be a hunter, solder, or a chief. The Comanche Indians had a tradition that if the women's husband dies the women has to be sent to the forest to die of starvation. They did this because the men thought that the ladies are not capable of living without someone protecting her.
